On Your Holy Mountain, before the prophet Moses;

You inscribed on the tablets of stone;

“Thou shall not have any other gods before me”

Yet there are thousand gods before us,

Lord, won’t you forgive us for such misdeeds?

“Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy”

But we, these inhabitants of your created world;

Mocked you and made your Sabbath Unholy

With our man made customs and traditions;

Lord, won’t you give us another chance to change?

I know, I believed that you can do all things;

I heard they speak, by faith in you we shall live;

So Lord, forgive us all, as you know we often fall;

And give us burning desire and hope of your soon coming;

Leading at the foot of your cross for contrite confession.

The Separation Motif in the Bible...A Powerful Sermon

I was so much enriched today with a powerful message that was given by Dr. Nam on Seperation Motif Presented in the Bible.

The speaker hails from South Korea and was a graduation ceremony speaker at BASC, Goalbathan, Bangladesh. He was well versed with his message and it seemed to be that He was a scholar in the old testament teaching as well as new Testament teaching of Holy Bible.

He brought out the fact of how the Bible presents the Separation Motif of God. He pointed out clearly verse by verse how God presented this separation motif in creation week, setting the Sabbath Day, in letting the first humans know not to eat the fruit of forbidden tree. The speaker went ahead with his focus from Genesis to Exodus, and pointed this motif in the Ten Plague that was set for the Egyptian and How this motif distinguished the people of God and the Egyptians. It was also pointed out in Ten Commandments. In the book of Leviticus the Separation Motif was upholded in the Temple Service where God separated Levites and priests for Temple service.
The book of Leviticus also talks about Clean and Unclean Food , in these issues too separation motif is presented

The speaker also talked about the Violators of God's Command and their results. Pointing out the important facts from the Old Testament, The speaker talked on the promises of Jesus about the Kingdom of God where those who will trust and follow His commandments, will inherit it. The parable of the Net, and the facts of who will get to heaven and who is not, the parable of talents etc were wonderfully spoken about to focus on this Seperation motif of the Bible.

The main idea of this motif was this that God in everything shown how he wants His people to be distinguisable, He wants that His people, His message, His words, His creation don't get mixed with the things that is false and ungodly. He wants His people to show to the World that He is a God different from other gods.

And therefore each of the Bible believers must uphold this distinguishing features and manifest the Glory of God.

The speaker challenged the congregation to go to the world yet separate themselves from the world.They must not mix up the false with the truth, the ungodliness with the godliness, and the darkness with the light.

The message was so appropriate for the graduating class as they venture into the world, a world completely different than their school campus. A world where they will have to tackle things alone, survive yet keep the commandments of God.


I praise God for this awesome message that was preached today for all of us. Surely it is so important for all of us to stand firm for the truth of the Bible wherever we go and whatever we do.

Survived for a Reason... Only God knows

Life is so fragile.. No one knows when his time on this earth will end. Life is basically uncertain. We live in a world where anything can happen anytime. Problems, sufferings, pain, sorrow and fights are very familiar words to the people on this planet. Though struggles are the inseparable part of existence yet we want to live, have one more day, an hour to see, taste and feel all that the world has to offer.

I am not a native speaker of English. So my words of expression, description or narration are limited. I can only write here with the repeated words that I somehow managed to store in my memory from the immense Vocabulary of English Language. Anyway I must write what I want to write..

It was on Tuesday, May 18,2010... I have been traveling in our truck accompanied by another colleague Jason from Dhaka to Hazrapur ( Bangla Hope Campus). We started from Bangla Hope Dental Clinic at around 6.30 am and headed towards BASC first just because we had to pay student subsidy there. We reached at the college by 7.30 am. Jason's brother entertained us in his house with the morning breakfast. It was good for the appetite, felt satisfied having the rice and pickle. Having done the breakfast, we headed towards the college treasurer's office to pay the subsidy. The treasure is a man of few words and calm. He welcomed us warmly and then as we kept discussing our issues , he called the cashier and accepted our check. Meanwhile someone was sent to bring some cold drinks. We did enjoy the cold drinks and refreshed ourselves. Once we were done with the office dealings, we were back to our truck, a few students came around for their pocket money, and Jason Halder as usual paid their money. Joseph Biswas one of the teacher at the college decided to gift us some mango and so he plucked some mangoes for us. After being done with all the things, we headed towards our final destination at around 9 am.

Jason drove till the Jamuna Bridge and then I asked him to allow me to drive sometime. I did take over and at beginning it was a bit zig zag driving but I started doing better once I got the car going.Though there was a sudden stop at a certain situation while I was driving , but it was a good saving and nothing happened with that. I kept driving till the Highway Restaurant, parked the car ,got a bottle of water ,relaxed bit then headed again towards destination. Though Jason insisted to drive from there, I told him I wanted to drive further. He allowed and so I drove till Sherpur , where while crossing a Lorry, my truck got scratched. Jason thought he must drive now and so he took over.

Jason was driving alright, he has some driving experience and so naturally he was driving better than what I was. He drove , we talked , laughed a while and everything seemed alright. We were almost half a km away from Hitchmi bazar, around six km away from Joypurhat market, the truck was running out of the road, I couldn't understand what was happening so I shouted and asked Jason to control the vehicle. He seemed almost numbed and without any response. The car was running in a hundred km speed. Before I could say anything else the accident took place. I don't know what happened and I can't explain how it happened. I don't even remember what I did, I knew only when the car flipped over and came in stand still. The truck hit a tree by the road side, flipped over a couple of times or more , and finally fell in a rice field by the road side around 10 feet away from the road. The only thing I was trying to believe if I was alive or dead, I was wondering how is Jason. I felt pain on my left chest and felt that the blood of spilling out of my forehead. I saw Jason's hand was bleeding as he got cuts on his fingers. The people from the nearby village came rushing to see what happened. Some ladies were shouting if we were alright. I dragged myself out of the car, somehow feel a bit alright, walked on the road side and sat there thinking how I survived. Looking at the truck, I could hardly believe that we are still alive. The people around couldn't believe that we are alive. The front glass of the truck was in pieces and it was all over Jason's and my head. Some of the by stander helped to remove the glass pieces from Jason's head. A lady came around me with some water and spilled it over my hand to remove the glasses. One of the Old lady said I was alive just because God spared my life and my mother's breast feeding had enough strength for my life. People couldn't believe how we survived from such a serious accident. I can't believe it still now.

Immediately after the accident, I called Suchitra and others over the phone. As they learned the incidents, they rushed to the spot. We were rescued in a hired truck and taken to Imu Hospital, Joypurhat for X-ray's for any major injury. Waiting for almost and hour we got the X-ray report and the doctor assured us that we are fine and will be alright very soon if proper doses of medicine is taken. Finally we got back to campus and found people waiting at the gate, some of them walked till the shops by the corner. The campus residents present at the gate heaved a sigh of relief seeing us alive and alright. This is where I got to end my small story.

The fact that I am alive today is not just because I was so righteous a man. It is not because of any merit that I acquired. I still wonder and still shocked how God has spared our life. Our life was a complete gift of God. We survived because God decided to keep us some more time on this earth. And without any doubt I can firmly say that He has a purpose in mind. And he has a purpose for each of us.

This accident may not be the last accident of my life. There might be many more which are unknown to me today. God has spared my life the last time, with confidence I can still say that He will spare my life in future too if I continue to live by His will.


I feel privileged be alive still , to be able to breathe, smell and taste the sweetness of this world, but this is going to be very short, that's the reason I am deciding to prepare myself for a world to come, a life eternal.


Praise be to God for giving me another chance to live. May His use me for His cause whatever way he wants to.

Jesus is Coming Again... My dream

Just on Thursday morning, August 6, 2009, I woke up with a sweet feeling. Feeling that God has designed everything in fullness of His time.

The reason for this sweet feeling was this that I had a dream. A dream so strange but so powerful to give hope and make me strong in my faith in Jesus. In my dream I saw that I was standing with a group of people. I can't remember any one of them from that group. But a group that was waiting for the coming of Jesus. And I saw that suddenly there was a great light, and that the angels are flying coming down from the sky, and there was a rainbow behind them.. a powerful light was shining from that rainbow, and I could see that the angels were flying down to earth because Jesus was just coming and was coming through the circle of the rainbow.Well, I can't just remember whether I saw the face of Jesus or not. But there is a feeling that I could see the great light that was shining forth and he was to come. Wow! what a dream! I don't really know why I had such a beautiful dream. It was wonderful... I felt that there was a great message for me. A message to be prepared for the Lord is surely coming. The Bible tells us in Joel 2:28-30

" Afterward I will pour out my spirit on everyone: your sons and daughters will proclaim my message; your old men will have dream and your young men will see visions. At that time I will pour out my spirit even on servants , both men and women."

What a powerful message for us. God in the last day will pour out His spirit on each of us that we might declare His name throughout the world.

I don't know why I had such a beautiful dream, But one thing I know that God has a purpose and that I am to speak for Him no matter whatever way I can.


And I just want to tell that no matter how a worst sinner I am! God still has a hope for me.


And He wants me to tell you, don't loose your hope my dear friend... " Jesus is coming again" and it's not a fable, it's not a fake thing. It is true... " He will surely come" Let's be faithful for Him to enter that eternal home




Thank you Jesus for loving me and giving me a hope that I can still wait for you and wait to enter that heavenly home if I faithfully follow your words.

My Concerns and Burdens

Like everyone else on this earth, I got my own duties, own life and own business to be busy with. But as no human being can live alone unless he is a god or say an secluded island people say, so I can't live without associating myself with new people, my collegues, my friends, and so on. In my association and dealings with brethren all around, most often I am faced with situation where people goes on telling lies, neglecting their duties, not bothering how they hurt others.Many tells me that this is the natural and nature of the people of this world. But it burdens me. It makes me sad that even when we are paid for our work, we often neglect to do it. If often pains me when we keep on lying without bothering how much we hurt others and how much we hurt Christ!. It often grieves me when we are ignorant of our duties and our responsibilities for us and others. I guess my idea is not to complain about what others are doing. I know I ought to do my duties well too. I am praying that each of us will recognize how important it is for us to be dilligent, to be honest and true. If we, each of us are not true, we can never expect a better world. How sad it is that we know what we ought to do, yet we donot do it!!!

HOW SELFISH AND MISER WE ARE!!!!

How Selfish and Miser We are!

Have u ever been able to observe your own personal attitude towards others? Have you ever contemplated what you really do to others just to get what u want out of others? Many a times I have been in baffling situation, when I found that people want to get everything out of others, without contributing anything in return; not even the simple gratitude. It is my observation or say observation of many people that we are so much concerned about ourselves, so much soaked with our own selfish nature that sometime we don’t even recognize how someone is contributing so much goodness sometime to our life just because they want to be kind to us and want to see that we live better. Sometime we just want to take the advantage of others goodness by claiming for those things that doesn’t belong to us. Can you just accept the fact that someone comes to you and tells you / force you to give your home off to someone because you were kind one day to him just giving a place to rest for a night? How would you feel? Wouldn’t it break your heart? Make you feel remorseful? It is just a simple example. Most often we exercise our power on others illegally just because those people are kind and helpful to us.

Sometime we just want to get everything for our benefits without even a bit of care of how the other person feels. We love to get the maximum care we can get from others without even imparting a bit of care for them. Each of us have a greater need for the care of others, we feel the need that someone will care for us. How selfish and how rude it is to exploit someone by robbing their care for ourselves without just giving a bit of it from ours!. We are so stiff with your heart as if, if we just share a bit of our love, we will run dry. This attitude of ours makes others life miserable. And it makes the good people feel that they are treated unfairly, that their goodness are not understood, that their effort to help others is not properly felt by the one who receives the help.

I personally feel exploited and used when someone takes the benefits out of me without sharing a bit to me. How I wish that they would return kindness for kindness that I can offer sometime! My contribution to someone’s life might be so little! So trifle! But I am sure that there are people who share much goodness than what I can ever imagine! I wish that each of us will have some attitude to show gratitude to others for the goodness that they shower on us.

God has not created human being to be so selfish, so much self-seeking. He created each of us with the mind and heart to give, give as much as we can. And if we cannot give even a little bit then our existence as human being are futile, we have become just like some other animals! I just feel it.

Our Own Follies

It has been my experiences that most often people don’t want to understand the simple things even though it is spoken clearly. I feel that it is because they cannot break out their cocoon of personal conservative ideas or say their own egoistic feelings. They don’t want to bow down to truth and therefore shows their hesitance towards accepting the factual ideas. I observed that it is easy to please someone when we speak on their favour supporting their own ideas, without bothering whether it is wrong or right. If you go against of what they just expressed and speak differently than what their ideas are, you will be felt as threats of their long term reserved egoistic feelings. Most often people don’t want to change their own perspective being so stubborn to their roots. But I feel that we must understand that differences of opinions are not the threats to what we think but they are a different outlook, and a scope to learn something new. Each of us are fashioned differently, our thoughts and our feelings towards a particular things might be different just because our realization and our senses might not give the similar response from the stimulus. Therefore, we ought to respect of what others things and try to understand their points. There is always a possibility of going to a wrong conclusion of a certain matter too if one is given the full freedom of taking things one way. Therefore each of our ideas have values and they must be brought under a control panel to derive the best outcome possible. This is the way we can work as an organized whole for the betterment of our life, improvement of our own thoughts and for the greater good of this world. I wish that each of us will have a deeper realization and deeper understanding of our own limitations and the need of one another’s contributions to fill the gap where we fail to comprehend certain things.

God bless each of us as we take endeavor to be better everyday and better in our thoughts.

Our Degraded World

It is a pathetic situation that most often we don’t want to do what is right. Many a time we see things going wrong but we don’t want to speak against it just because someone will not like it. We want to please others just by selling or say sacrificing all of our moral character. We don’t mind selling our personality in order to make others happy, so to say imparting happiness to others by wrong means.
It is so sad that true and honest people are rare today. Today we are in great need of people who will stand firm for the truth no matter what happens. It gives me a great pain when I see that those who profess to follow God, they outwardly shows their godly attitude but inwardly ravenous wolves. Their roots are not in truth, but in money and in worldly pleasures.
Sometime when I deeply think, I feel that one of the main causes of these kinds of things is this that we don’t care about it. We are reckless as well as thoughtless. Sin has completely changed our mind. Our minds are focused on money, wealth, materialistic possessions. We don’t want to possess inward qualities. I feel we, each of us are responsible for what is happening around us. We need to change ourselves in order to change the world. And it has to start with you and me.

Let’s not wait for others, let’s begin a journey to fight with truth. Let us stand firm with it no matter what happens, no matter what others say. We know God will surely bless those who diligently seek truth and strive to live a noble and honorable life keeping God as the centre of their life.

BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTS TO CONTEMPLATE

Bible text: "Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see--how good God is". Psalm 34:8 An excuse is what a person makes when he or she doesn’t want to do something, but doesn’t have a reason. God’s dinner would not appeal to someone whose appetite has already been satisfied with lollipops and other things. Things Then, there are others who are so satisfied with God, that they would rather give up anything rather than miss out on God. God has to be real. All those who love God and like being with him, can’t just be imagining their hunger is satisfied.

Striving for excellence... It's the little things in life that determine the big things.
Biblical text: His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' (Matthew 25:21 NIV).
To have an excellent life, strive for an excellent year. Within that year, strive for an excellent month, and within that month, strive for an excellent day. Within the day, strive for an excellent hour. An excellent life is the sum of many excellent moments!

The 'big' picture is often made up of 'little' decisions. The mighty oak was once a little nut that stood its ground. Sometimes standing your ground on something may not seem that important but in time you may see the "big" picture.

God is great all the time and His mercy shall endure upon those who dillegently seek Him.

Treasures in Heaven
You might have realized in your life that something that you love the most attracts you towards it all the time. No matter how many times you try to divert your mind to something else, your attention is always directed to that precious things of your choice. It seems that whatever we want and desire in our life, Until and unless we are given that we are not satisfied. By hook or crook, by any means we try to achieve it. And then when we find it, we are so excited and we call it a miracle, we tell that to our friends, give parties and so on. Just imagine we are trying to achieve something that is so short lived. The reason I am saying it is short lived because nothing can be permanent on this. It is well known to everybody that we are destined to die one day and overall our living on this earth is so uncertain that we may die any time. Yet we are looking for all those temporary things and give our whole mind and soul into it. Just imagine, if same amount of energy and enthusiasm is spent in bringing ourselves closer to God. And how do we do it? It is so easy, you donot need to run for it, you donot need to be out of breathe for it, you donot need to pay money for it. It is so simple. Just follow God, Love His words and Listen to His voice. How do you listen to His voice? Through His word, The Holy Scriptures. Just take a minute to contemplate, if you use the same amount of zeal to gain the goodness of the life that is found in Jesus, You will be preparing yourself for eternity. You are storing your treasures in heaven. And the wonderful things about this is , when you store your wealth in heaven there is nothing to fear for any calamities, neither for thieves or the dacoits. It's so safe and overall Jesus is the master of your wealth. But the difference is, the wealth that you store in heaven is for enternity and the wealth of this earth for short time. so brethren, Let us try to direct our minds in storing wealth in heaven. For if your treasures are in heaven, your mind will be directed to it also.

Truth and Honesty

Plight for True and Honest People

At this present age of technology and knowledge explosion,things seems to be going in the plightful direction. Though we see many developments and improvements in all aspects of life, yet it seems that the basic principles of life are neglected. Humanity is heading towards degradation. To illustrate what I just stated, I would like to put forward one important things that gives me a great burden. The matter goes like this:
As we look and see around. We are grieved and one thing that we desperately utter is this " There is no truth, no justice on this earth" there is always a cry for true and faithful people. We are encountered with the situations in which we are baffled. Our expecations and desire to be treated honestly and justly are not met. Many times we are also succumed to the same disease of being dishonest and unfair. Honesty is the word we hate to follow. Honest people are rare.We donot find people whom we can trust and confide our secrets. We hardly can find people with whom we can share our deepest feeling yet remain secure. In the sea of people, we still suffocate without a faithful friend. We donot know where to find such a friend who will understand our pain and will open the door of the heart to give us a bit of space, a bit of support . What a plight!
Gone are the days when people stood for truth and justice. There are examples of faithful and honest men and women who stood for their principles and were determined to face any calamities to prove their points true and valid. They were legends, martyrs.

What is happening to our present generation? What are we lacking so much that holds us back to go forward to set an example?Are we loosing the value that upholds the humanity? Are we loosing the basic principles that can lead us to a happy living? The world is changing with the speed of time, it seems to be inevitable. "Time and Tide waits for none" goes the well known saying.No matter what changes, human values and the principles of good living must not cease to exist. As the time pass by, things may worsen if we donot instill the moral character to our tendril like young ones. I feel the only thing that can save humanity from the destruction are the attributes like truth and honesty . The Bible admonishes us that we must hold fast what is good. The time is at hand now when we are to manifest that we are different. We must show the world that we have something that world needs desperately. But where are those people who will stand for truth and honesty?
The world still needs the people who will stand firm with the truth even when the heaven falls. Where do you stand with your conviction? Are you able to hold fast the truth? Is it possible for you or me to be the one that lost and broken one can find a true friend? Are you or me the one where people can quench their thirst of truth?If not, shouldn't we take a step to heal ourselves from this disease and help others to treat this dangerous diesease too? Humanity will loose everything when finally truth and honesty disappears from their character. Heaven will remain further than we imagine until our characters are moulded and our motives are changed.
To qualify ourselves for heaven we must be able to bear the fruits of the spirit. Truth and Honesty in this respect has greater values than anything else.

So let us Hold fast all goodness! Let's Save the world from imminet destruction!

Wingless though as you are

Don't try to act smart
That was what you said,
Your words crushed my spirit;
Yet shouldn't I try one more time
Thought I make mistakes?
Each trials makes me better.

Don't love people,
They won't understand you,
You said it is valueless to care for others;
Yet shouldn't I extend a bit of love
When I see my fellow being suffers in agony of life?
Love supposed to unconditional support.

Don't trust people,
They will deceive you,
That's what you whispered other day;
Yet shouldn't I trust anyone
Just because there are few thorns
That spoils the beautiful garden of others
Where can I find cent percent perfect people?

Don't smile, Don't laugh;
Problems will be forever with you.
That's what you warned me thousands times;
Shouldn't I laugh to spread goodness without cost?
Laughter heals the bone
Broken spirits dries me than a laughter.

Don't exhaust yourself,
What's the use of working day and night?
Relax, have fun, you said it so well.
Yet when I dont work and fail, you mock at me
Success never comes without hard work anyway.

Your don't never ends,.
They keep me pulling back
Why don't you be positive?
Why don't you shut your mouth?
And allow me to be what I want to be
Nothing seems impossible
Where there is will and zeal.

Praise : The Only Criterion to Go to Heaven

Why to Praise God?

Because

1.Praise Makes us Happy:

Have you ever realized a time when you praised someone and how happy have you felt?or somebody praised you and how you felt? There are times when we are too much into ourselves that we do not try to find any points to praise others. But if you sincerely try and do an experiment, you will obviously find out that when you praise someone it makes you extremely happy. You feel excited to the happiness of others. And obviously when you know in and out goodness of a person and praise, your praise helps you raise yourselves higher because you learn to value the goodness of others.

Just imagine a time when you are praising God all the time, you heart will be lifted up, your soul will be nourished and you will find that praising God makes you extremely happy. God is the source of all things above and beneath. He has created us. He knows what we are and where we are heading to. He has created us that we worship Him and bring glory to His name. Every praise to His name brings joy and happiness to our life. The Heavenly beings praise God in adoration for they know the in and out of God. They know the supreme power of God, His majesty, His loving Kindness. They are unable to keep themselves quiet because their hearts are full of gratitude for the joy the have in company of God. The four beast near the Throne of God says " Holy,Holy, Holy" day and night. The 24 elders around the throne of God sing in joy and admiration " You are worthy of our praise, Lord God almighty" . They sing and rejoice in His name because it makes them happy. The angels happily does theier duties and praises God because they find their join in doing that.So let us praise God because that will make us happy too and will keep us nearer to heavenly home.

2. Praise makes us what we are

A tree is identified by the fruit it bears. So also our praises tells us what we are and where we belong. It identifies ourselves and tells us what we are possessed with. It tells us what is within us. Our outer attitude is what is inside of us. When we praise God, we can reflect that we are His. When God is our source of everything and we identify ourselves with Him, We find a permanent address of eternal life. If we praise God, It becomes clear that our happiness is from Him. And it surely tells us that we are the inhabitants of heavenly home. We are to ask ourselves, who do we praise? Do we praise God or something else? It is a question that must be asked sincerely. If our answer is not God, then we must reconsider our life and reconsider our ways. God desires that we praise His name, Because in Him lies our all identities. Why should we be identified with something that cannot save our soul when we have a great opportunites to be sons and daughters of God. If we identify ourselves with Him, we will find the joy that never ends, our ways and thoughts will be changed, Our hearts will be in tune with goodness, Our minds will be enriched, Life will be a miracle for God will be with us every moment. Thus why to wander in other things to identifiy ourselves when we can identify with our Father, Our God, who can stand always besides us in times of sandess or pain, trials or tempations, joy and goodness. Let's walk with Him and Praise Him and This will make us the heavenly Inhabitants forever.

3. Praise makes you to seek secrets

Just imagine that you have found pearls at the ocean floor! Once you have discover this precious things, you will look forward to find more and more. You will not stop until you can get all of it. What about if you find diamond while you are searching for pearls? You will surely keep on searching for more and more treasures. When you praise God and find that He is the wonderful God, that He has the power to change things, you will be excited, you will keep on searching. Once you have found that by praising you have come to know the treasures that can give you happiness and joy, I tell you, you will never stop, but will continue to seek more and more of this amazing goodness. You will find fresh and new things everyday about God. Just look at the nature, how wonderfully they manisfest the amazing goodness of God! Look at the stars and moons that sparkle and shine, how majestically, they proclaim the overruling power of God, as you keep on praising and keep on learning new things from nature and also experience from your daily activities, you will keep on seeking the secrets of this happiness, peace, and joy that you have found from God. Your life will be changed, you thoughts will be directed towards the more higher and lofty things, your ambitions to cherish the goodness of God will be multiplied manifold and you will never love to go back to your old and gloomy life. God wants you and me to be happy, He wants us to find joy in relatioinship with Him. The only thing to do is to praise God continually and enjoy seeking His face, His secrets that can give life, and life in abudance.

Today is the best time to decide who do you want to praise?

But I have decided to praise God and avail His goodness. May God give you the power to choose Him and Praise His name forever to avail the amazing life that He offers.
