Oh Lord Give me a dream
Nobler than my personal one
Greater than my imagination
The one where your name can be lifted up.
Oh Lord Give the words
Words not only to satisfy my wants
But to sooth every broken ones
To Show them the road to you.
Oh Lord Open my eyes
If I am blind with my own worries
So that I can see the pain of others
And console in their needs.
Oh Lord Make me your instrument
To bring hope to the hopeless
A song of Joy to the crying one
And love to the hurted souls.
Oh Lord give me a purpose
A purpose greater than mine
To serve you and humanity
To bring a change in action and duty.
